In the News: Georgiou well on way to paperless future.

BUILDING construction, engineering and property development company Georgiou uses about 180 different forms for staff across the business.

The national company, based in Perth, has about 800 staff across Western Australia, Queensland and Victoria. This includes about 600 computer or smart device users.

At any time, Georgiou has about 70 per cent of staff with a computer out in the field somewhere. Its 180 forms range in purpose from project management, building and workplace health and safety compliance and human resources.

“The majority of our work is carried out in the field and we were finding that some guys’ days would be longer than they had to be because they’d spend all day on-site building buildings and they’d come back and have to do paperwork,” Georgiou IT manager Andy Rhodes says.
