BlinkMobile Announces Four More Councils Commit to BlinkForms
BlinkMobile Interactive, an Australian headquartered Mobile Enterprise Application Platform (MEAP) provider, today announced that four more Councils have committed to BlinkMobile’s Forms package during October 2012.
Moreland City Council in Victoria, and Hornsby, Pittwater and Marrickville Councils in New South Wales, will use BlinkForms to automate processes for mobile and in-field staff as part of their mobile data collection and reporting strategies, enabling staff to capture, send and receive data remotely using mobile forms from any type of internet capable device.
The councils plan to implement BlinkForms in a variety of applications ranging from lodgement of service requests to job safety analysis, compliance of health inspections, tree inspections and streamlining various aspects of council asset management. The solutions will be implemented by BlinkMobile’s reseller partner, EcoView Mobile, a technology and consulting services company who will work with each Council to tailor their particular solutions.
BlinkForms allows organisations to rapidly design and deploy electronic forms, allowing data capture, RFID/barcode scanning and image capture (including GPS information) across all mobile devices. The service interfaces with existing enterprise systems to create a two-way exchange of information that delivers significant business value. Replacing manual, time-consuming processes, remove data duplication, and increasing response times which will increase employee productivity and reduce council costs.
Darren Besgrove, Director and COO, BlinkMobile Interactive, said, “We are delighted that more councils are recognising the business benefits that can be achieved with BlinkForms. It is a flexible and scalable solution with advanced off-line capabilities which makes it a very attractive business proposition, as staff can be fully productive even when there is no network connection.
Councils have highly mobile workforces. This is why council’s have been so quick to identify the potential for productivity gains by equipping their field staff and contractors with access to mobile services. We look forward to helping Hornsby, Pittwater, Marrickville and Moreland Councils to realise this potential in the coming weeks.
