Simble Solutions signs contract with A2EP for the SimbleSense and CarbonView platforms for ten farms in NSW as part of NSW DPI pilot to improve on-farm energy efficiency

- Simble signs agreement with Australian Alliance for Energy Productivity (A2EP) to provide energy metering and analytics reporting as well as carbon emissions reporting for 10 farm sites as part of a energy efficiency and productivity project funded by the state government of New South Wales.
- Energy Metering project to run through to June 2023. Carbon reporting project to run through to June 2022 with the option for renewal post that term.
Sydney, 22 February 2021: Smart energy Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company Simble Solutions Limited (ASX:SIS) (‘Simble’ or ‘the Company’) is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement with Australian Alliance for Energy Productivity (A2EP) for the SimbleEnergy suite of SaaS solutions.
Under the terms of the agreement, A2EP will deploy the SimbleEnergy platform and associated third party IoT energy meters, as well as Simble’s carbon reporting platform, CarbonView to all 10 farms as part of a NSW government funded pilot program.
A2EP is providing support to the pilot proponents and the NSW Department of Primary Industries. The pilots will test a range of innovative on-farm energy productivity improvements including flow batteries, advanced chillers and load management.
Simble’s SaaS products are a critical element of the measurement and evaluation of project impact. Data from Simble’s platforms will be available to individual farms in real time and to A2EP for a whole of project view. A2EP is working towards pilots in other sectors and other technologies and aims to build a portfolio of real-world data to inform policy and program development.
