Acresta announces Barwon Health’s Andrew Love Cancer Centre App Launch at Gartner Symposium/ITxpo 2013
GARTNER SYMPOSIUM/ITxpo, GOLD COAST, 29 October 2013 – Acresta today announced Barwon Health’s Andrew Love Cancer Centre App Launch from Gartner Symposium/ITxpo 2013.
Software solutions provider Acresta is delighted to announce that Barwon Health’s Andrew Love Cancer Centre has come on board as a customer implementing the BlinkMobile Platform. This will provide cancer patients with a “Patient App” that enables them to complete Patient registration information and appointment forms while also providing research information approved by their Oncologist. The solution also reduces the data entry required by the Centre’s reception staff thus allowing them more time for patient care.
Professor David Ashley, Director of Oncology said, “The BlinkMobile platform allows our patients to interact with the Andrew Love Cancer Centre from the comfort of their homes using any device. The App will also integrate additional patient care services from Barwon Health and the Andrew Love Cancer Centre to enhance the patient experience. We have been impressed by Optus and Acresta’s professionalism and speed to market”.
Fadi Geha, CEO of Acresta commented, “We are delighted to have the trust and support of Barwon Health on this key initiative, and to be given the opportunity to demonstrate the speed at which results can be achieved through the deployment of the BlinkMobile Platform. Our strategic partnership with Optus has enabled us to deliver what we hope will be a much needed community targeted solution that will enhance the quality of care for patients and their support network.”
