Acresta congratulates 2013 SmartWay Excellence Award winner CEVA.

The prestigious SmartWay Excellence Award, which is given to the top one percent of supply chain environmental achievers, has been awarded to CEVA, a customer of Acresta’s sustainability solution, CarbonView .

Houston, USA, 22 October, 2013 – CEVA Logistics, one of the world’s leading supply chain management companies, was today awarded the 2013 SmartWay Excellence award for environmental performance by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) at the annual conference of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) in Denver, Colorado.
Initiated in 2004, the SmartWay program aims to voluntarily achieve improved fuel efficiency and reduce environmental impacts from freight transport. The SmartWay Excellence award, reserved for the top one percent of SmartWay Partners, is the EPA’s highest recognition for demonstrated leadership in the movement of goods via freight transport.
