Customer problem
A business case for infrastructure upgrade was undertaken by Canterbury Council for the Max Parker Aquatic Centre in Revesby, Sydney.
Simble’s role in solving the problem
SimbleSense was adopted by Council and used to collect 12 months of rich data. A baseline for energy data across all four seasons of the year was established.
Customer Outcomes
Data from SimbleSense was subsequently used in the tender documentation by Canterbury Council to support the upgrade of the outdoor pool heating to heat pumps.
PorkStorks Piggery

Porkstorks Piggery wanted to reduce their energy usage and engaged ReThink Electricity to provide energy efficiency services. These services included an independent assurance of projected energy savings.

ReThink used SimbleSense and an IoT device to audit and verify ‘before and after’ savings and identified energy and cost savings of 20%.

Energy savings for the project resulted in 20% reduction in bills within the projected savings and cost savings of 20% were recorded.
Auckland Regional Council
Customer problem
With over 70 requests per hour through their call centre, a solution was required to allow Auckland Council’s team of 140 full-time building inspectors to provide reports and results to builders and other stakeholders in real-time.

An automated workflow system was introduced, allowing building control inspectors to send reports from their tablet while on site.

Major benefits include real-time data entry, ensuring critical data is available when required, automatic allocation of jobs to maintenance crews and increased productivity with inspectors able to complete and additional two inspections per week.

Entire inspections are now completed on a mobile device with photos and signatures by property inspectors. Instant recording of data gives site managers real-time visibility of project costs and the parts ordering process now takes minutes rather than weeks.
