Sydney, 14 October 2020: Smart energy Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company Simble Solutions Limited (ASX:SIS) (‘Simble’ or ‘the Company’) is pleased to announce that it has deepened its collaboration with Australian property group Mirvac (ASX: MGR) via a new project launching alongside the banks of the Georges River in southwest Sydney, whereby Simble’s innovative SimbleHome App will be offered to customers of Mirvac’s new Georges Cove Residences.
Mirvac’s customers will be given a sustainability upgrade option which will cover the SimbleHome App and its associated hardware and installation fee.
Georges Cove Residences is a masterplanned community comprised of approximately 180 Mirvac turnkey homes. The development is located in close proximity to the Liverpool CBD and only 6km from the Holsworthy train station.
The SimbleHome App allows households to easily analyse and track their energy consumption, and helps identify opportunities for cost and energy savings. It also incorporates solar generation information and integrates with non-energy related sensors such as humidity and temperature sensors. The SimbleHome App connects with Energy IoT devices and is available for Australian residential customers.
Existing partnership with Mirvac strengthened
The integration of the SimbleHome App with the Georges Cove Residences builds on an existing partnership between Simble and Mirvac that was recently formed when Simble was selected to participate in Mirvac’s Affordability Experiment.
The Affordability Experiment aims to tackle the barriers that many aspiring homeowners face including; saving for a deposit, the initial purchase price of a home and escalating ongoing living costs.
Simble’s state-of-the-art SimbleHome App is being used in the Affordability Experiment to monitor a family’s energy, water use and lifestyle in order to understand the cost savings that can be achieved by living in an efficient home and its impact on the family’s lifestyle. In addition, the potential for these cost savings to improve debt serviceability and reduce the repayment timeframe on an average mortgage will be analysed.
